Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how FranReal LLC (“FranDeals”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the FranDeals website, applications, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. This policy covers your personal information only — it does not apply to the franchise data we publish, which is drawn from public filings and other sources.

1. Information we collect

We collect:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and details you provide when you sign up, complete onboarding, or contact us.
  • Payment information — processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we receive limited billing details (such as the last four digits, card brand, and subscription status).
  • Usage information — how you interact with the Service, such as pages viewed, features used, links clicked in our emails, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
  • Device information — browser type, device, and similar technical data collected automatically.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service;
  • create and manage your account and process your subscription and payments;
  • send you transactional messages (login links, receipts, service notices) and, where permitted, product updates you can opt out of;
  • respond to your requests and provide support; and
  • detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues, and comply with law.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf — for example Stripe (payments), our cloud hosting and database provider (Supabase / AWS, hosted in the United States), and our email delivery providers.
  • Legal and safety recipients when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

4. Cookies & tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the Service is used. We may use email tracking (such as open and click tracking) to measure engagement with our messages. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.

5. Data retention

We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account data as described below.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices & rights

You may access or update your account information, unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails, and request that we correct or delete your personal information. Depending on where you live (for example, California and other states with privacy laws), you may have additional rights to access, delete, or opt out of certain processing of your information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. To make a request, email support@franreal.com. We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

8. Children’s privacy

The Service is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. United States processing

We operate in the United States and process and store information on servers located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S., where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
