Franchisees participate in a system designed by Coast that includes advertising and marketing of hotel accommodations, a central reservation system, and uniform quality standards for hotels authorized to use the Coast brand.
Franchisees must license Coast's central reservation system and purchase or license a compatible property management system (PMS). Coast has unlimited independent remote access to central reservation system data and PMS data pertaining to the hotel. Coast notifies franchisees by email of central reservation system software changes. No operations manual is maintained or shared with franchisees. No other specific computer hardware or software required.
