Dirty Dough Cookies offers franchises for the establishment and operation of retail cookie and dessert businesses. Franchisees receive a 49% ownership stake in a franchisee entity LLC, with the franchisor's affiliate retaining 51% ownership and sole management control.

Required POS system: TOAST POS (1-terminal minimum meeting franchisor specifications, estimated cost $1,850; may change at franchisor's discretion with cost borne by franchisee). Required iPad for business purposes interfacing with franchisor's computer system and software ($600–$1,500 depending on version/features); franchisor has independent access to all data collected or generated with no contractual limits; estimated annual maintenance, upgrade, and support costs $3,600–$6,000. Franchisor may require updates and upgrades at franchisee's expense with no contractual limitations on frequency or cost. Required CRM software (designated by franchisor, cost to be determined). Required QuickBooks Online accounting system ($50–$180 per month); franchisor must have access; franchisee must use franchisor-designated standardized profit and loss and balance sheet templates. Required compliance monitoring/camera system at franchisor-designated reference points ($2,500–$5,000 initial installation; approximately $50 per month ongoing); both franchisee and franchisor must have online access. Required merchant services/payment processor (franchisor-designed, all fees at franchisee's expense; provider may change at any time). Confidential operations manual provided in electronic format (approximately 112 pages); remains franchisor property; franchisee may not copy physically or electronically; master copy maintained by franchisor is controlling in disputes.
