Franchisor provides DISCOVERY MAP® Operations Manual (134 pages with table of contents covering general information, advertising, products, training, back office, launching, sales tools, ads, map development, production, distribution, and financial management); no specific computer hardware brand required but franchisee must have full-color inkjet or laser printer, operating system supported by manufacturer, current browser version, and broadband meeting FCC 'Medium Use' guidelines (Advanced Use recommended); computer system manages sales and business operations; estimated hardware cost $500-$1,200 and annual maintenance $250; franchisor reserves right to require system updates at franchisee's expense with no cost limitations; franchisor owns all telephone listings, email addresses, and domain names; Google Voice® not approved; no remote access by franchisor to franchisee's computer data.
